Putting an incidental collection to work

The East Melbourne Hebrew Congregation has a cultural and religious collection reflecting one of the oldest Jewish communities in Australia and recently we’ve been exploring how best to open a window on to these.

Postscript (July 2022):

The exhibition is complete and the Synagogue will be open during Open House Melbourne this year. Please take a look at the wonderful collection of objects and their stories now exhibited in the window sills of this quite beautiful and heritage listed building.
